Star actress, Funke Akindele a.k.a Jenifa is at the Centre of a not so good unraveling drama.
She is presently at loggerhead with some of her family members especially her mother over her dalliance with Hip-hop artiste, Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz.
According to sources, since news broke that the London based musician proposed to the highly revered actress and she gladly accepted the proposal, ever since then, her relationship with her Mom has become frosty.
Insiders hinted Esabod that Jenifa’s Mom is of the opinion that why can’t her daughter look for a single guy with no baggage and get hitched to instead of planning to get marry to JJC who is a serial baby daddy with questionable character.
When Esabod tried to query the insider on why the actress Mom is not in support of their relationship, she said:
“ The same way and manner her mother warned her then not to marry Kehinde Oloyede because of the many scandals trailing him then as regards Baby mama here and there, but she refuses and still went ahead with the union and the marriage didn’t last up to a year.
Funke’s Mom is just being protective of her daughter; she doesn’t want such incident that happen in the past to play out again. Cos the last marriage brouhaha almost shattered and destroys her career.’ The insider squealed.
It would be recall that Funke Akindele’s have been romantically linked with star actor Femi Adebayo in the past. It was even alleged that she aborted for the actor while the affair lasted.
Her affair with JJC Skillz became public discourse when both were spotted hand-in- hand at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award( AMVCA). Barely few weeks later, the couple were spotted in a short video clip recorded in London during JJC Skillz’s birthday.
In the video, the singer’s mother prayed for the actress to make her Grandma by delivering twins and triplets while the couple said a resounding amen in unison.
However, what those in the know of this development find mystifying is why the actress loves dating men consider full of baggage and baby mama’s drama.
