Ekiti workers declare 3-days fasting and prayer for Fayose’s Brain Dysfunction



The organised labour in Ekiti State has declared a three-day fasting and prayer for striking workers in the state.
According to a press release made available to Esabod correspondent in Ado Ekiti yesterday, the fasting and prayer which would begin Tuesday, would end on Thursday.
The release was signed by the secretaries of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Mr. O. P. Olayemi; Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, Mr. J.A. Adebayo and Joint Negotuating Council, Mr. Oladele Ayodeji.
It read in part, “In view of the current situation in Ekiti State as regards the ongoing strike embarked on by the entire workers in Ekiti State, allll workers in Ekiti State are invited to a three-day fasting and prayer from Tuesday to Thursday 16th June. It is expected that this should be replicated at all the 16 Local Government Areas in Ekiti State.”
