A Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor simply identified as Bajomo, was kidnapped while preparing for workers meeting just before the Sunday service at the Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos branch of the church yesterday July 24th.
Church members say Bajomo was in the church when some unidentified persons came in pretending to be there for service before bringing out their guns and ordering the pastor to follow them to their vehicle.
A member of the church, Williams, who witnessed the incident said:
“He was busy preparing for the meeting, when suddenly some people came in dressed in beautiful attire and they were taken for members who had come to worship. It was not until they pulled out guns before it dawned on us that they are militants".No word has been heard from his abductors.
