The awards for the African categories of the 2016 BET Awards were held a day before the main event at the Microsoft Theater, on Sunday but that didn’t prevent our stars from showing up at the event in Style. Here are photos of what some of them wore as well as full list of winners from the event:
Ghana’s MzVee dazzled in her natural girl elements while Nigerian diva Yemi Alade made a bold fashion statement on the red carpet wearing a piece from celebrated designer Zuhair Murad’s 2016 Resort Collection. Model and former Miss Malaika, Hamamat Montia sported a sexy yellow dress while Diamond Platnumz looked dapper and stylish.
