Speeding Car Falls Inside Dam Along Ibadan Expressway

A vehicle skidded off the Ikire-Ibadan Expressway yesterday and plunged into the Asejire dam. The Toyota Matrix Sport car eventually got written off from the highway due to over speeding.

An eyewitness said many people who got to the scene had wondered how the accident happened and how the car somersaulted and plunged into the dam.

Sadly, a lady who was reportedly trapped inside the dam was later announced dead despite efforts of some passersby to rescue her.

Two persons were injured while one person, a lady, was said to have lost her life. RIP to the dead.
