Spokesperson to Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka has described Nigeria’s Health Minister, Prof. Isaac Adewole as a mad man for faulting the research done by one Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, who claimed he has found cure for HIV/Aids.
Professor Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in Veterinary Medicine of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Abia State, said he had allegedly cured 10 persons living with HIV with his newly invented drug.
Ezeibe claimed that the drug, which was produced with “Aluminium Magnesium Silicate”, had the clinical ability to “reach all cells’’ and make HIV “a conquered organism”.
However, the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, told State House reporters on Wednesday that the research was carried out without any valid ethical approval.
Reacting to Adewole’s statement, Olayinka described both the minister and his ministry as vampires.
Olayinka, who wrote this on his Facebook timeline said:
”Mr Health Minister, are you the one madding mad or mad is madding you?
“Should not obtaining your stupid permit before carrying out the research be the issue or the effectiveness of The drug?
“I understand your plight and those of your vampires in the health ministry anyway. The moment there is a drug that can cure HIV/AIDS from Nigeria, all those WHO grants on HIV/AIDS prevention will stop.”
