Update!! South Africa Police launch manhunt for suspects after Nigerian auto mechanic was killed in mob attack

Police in Polokwane have launched a manhunt for unknown group of people responsible for the xenophobic attack and murder of a 35-year-old Nigerian man on Thursday, April 6th.

Razak Ajao, an auto mechanic died after foreigners were attacked in Polokwane, Limpopo province of South Africa.


According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the attack happened between 12:00 and 15:00.
"It is alleged that a group of men accosted the man  next to the taxi rank on the corner of Buite and Devenish Street, where they stripped him naked and assaulted him using sticks  and stones,"  he said.
He died as a result of the beating, added Ngoepe.
