Five Killed, Four Injured In Kogi Road Crash



Five people have been confirmed dead and four others injured in a fatal accident along the Lokoja-Okene Express Road in Osara  Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The accident, the second in two weeks involved a truck and a bus conveying market women from Lokoja to Okene.
An eyewitness said that the incident happened at about 4pm on Monday in a spot popularly called Sawmill.
A resident of the area  Mohammed Imgiyaaz told reporters that the victims were returning from Lokoja Market.
The Head of Operations, Federal Road Safety Corps in the state, Mr. Suleiman Mohammed, confirmed the incident to our correspondent, adding that the information available to the command showed that five people were killed, while four were injured.
