Super Eagles Promised $20,000 per Goal as Mikel Assures of World Cup Ticket

According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Udofia made the promise in a brief chat with the players inside the chartered ARIK Bombadier CRJ 1000 aircraft just before take-off at the Ibom International Airport, Uyo on Sunday afternoon.
He said: “I am a good friend of the NFF President, Mr Amaju Pinnick, and I am happy that I am here in time to see you guys before take-off for Yaounde.“I watched the game against the Cameroonians here in Uyo on Friday and I am sure you have the ability to conquer them again in their own territory.” Udofia, Chief Executive Officer of Desicorn Company, announced to the applause of players and officials.

“We are just very keen to finish what we started. We started a job in Uyo and it is time to finish it,” Mikel said as then team landed in Yaounde.
“If we can pick the World Cup ticket by Monday, why wait any longer? We are all very confident because we know our ability and what we are ready to bring to the party.
“We are as hungry, perhaps, even more hungry than they are. It will be a tough affair but we will give our very best to take the three points.”
Nigeria will become the first African side to seal a World Cup spot if they beat Cameroon and Zambia fail to pick up maximum points in Algeria.
Meanwhile, Fifa has appointed the highly-rated Gambian referee Bakary Papa Gassama for the blockbuster clash.
