The Kuola bridge in Ido local government area, Oyo state was destroyed by heavy rain in August 2017 and has reportedly been left unattended ever since. A concerned resident is crying out to the government for help in fixing it, describing the bridge as a very useful one to the people around
"Kuola bridge was the connection knob of Apata community to so many places without stress. The bridge which connects the whole of Apata to New Garage and Lagos Ibadan express way also links them to the earth of Ibadan city like Challenge, Ring Rd, & Liberty Oke-Ado through Oluyole housing & industrial estate. A stitch in time they say saves nine, the longer it takes to start reconstruction the larger the expenses. #saveApatapeople"
