A former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Gidado Idris, is dead. Mr. Idris died at the age of 82. He died in Abuja yesterday Friday 15th, after a protracted illness. He will be buried today Saturday, December 16th.
Born in Zaria, Kaduna state, Gidado was appointed SGF in 1993 and retired in 1999 after a civil service career that started before Nigeria’s independence.
May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
