A woman was filmed dangling from electric cables above a street in China after her lover's wife reportedly arrived home earlier than expected. In the disturbing clip, the scantily-clad woman can be seen hanging dangerously upside down, with only one leg entwined with the cable.

As she dangled, a crowd gathered in the street below her and took photos with their phones. Several men stepped forward to help her down. A ladder can be seen in the shot, but the problem seemed to be how to get it close enough to the woman. Unverified sources say the woman fell or jumped out of a window after she and her lover were surprised by the return of his wife.

Liveleak shared the video with the caption: "Wife came home earlier than expected."

See The Nigerian Father Of Three Jailed For 3 Years In Prison For $3650 Online Romance Scam

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
Okechukwu Brown, a father of three, was on Monday in Lagos sentenced to three years imprisonment for defrauding an American of 3,650 dollars in an online romance scam.

Justice Josephine Oyefeso of an Ikeja High Court handed down the verdict after Brown pleaded guilty to the charge.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Brown was sentenced after entering into a plea bargain with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

As part of the terms of the agreement, he plead guilty to a one-count amended charge of obtaining money by false pretense.

The EFCC had also recommended a one-and-a -half year prison term in the plea bargain. Following his plea, Mr Uche Chikelue, the counsel to the defendant, quoting the Holy Bible, asked the court for mercy in sentencing Brown. “In Mark 10: 46-52, is the story of blind Bartimaeus, who was delivered by one word — mercy. Like blind Bartimaeus, we are standing on the word — mercy.

“My Lord, the defendant has been well behaved and has co-operated with the prosecution throughout the investigations.

“He has no past criminal record, has never been involved in any crime, he is a first-time offender, and he has refunded all the money stated in the information and has shown great remorse for his actions.

“He has aged parents, who due to his present incarceration, are having serious health challenges.

“He is the first born of the family and the breadwinner, he also has a wife and three children, the last, a toddler.

“My Lord, mercy is not qualified for, we humbly urge the court to temper justice with mercy because we know the court has a discretion to show mercy,” Chikelue said.

Sentencing Brown, Justice Oyefeso said: “In passing my sentence, I have taken into consideration the allocutus (plea) of the defence counsel.

“The court observes that this crime has taken ground in Nigeria and this court has to send the right signals to the public.

“This crime is a dishonour to our country and paints our great country in a bad light; there must be justice for the defendant, complainant and the country.

“I have also taken into consideration that the Criminal Law of Lagos prescribes 15 years in prison for the offence of obtaining money by false pretences.

“I hereby sentence the defendant to three years in prison on the one-count charge of obtaining money by false pretences.

“This sentence begins from March 13, the day he was first arraigned.” According Mrs V.O. Aigboje, the counsel to the EFCC, Brown committed the offence between Aug. 22, 2013 and Nov. 23, 2013 at Ikeja. The convict obtained 3,650 dollars online from Mr Thomas Nublin of the United States of America.

“The Lagos office of the EFCC in July 2014, received a petition from the U.S. Army alleging that some persons traced to Nigeria defrauded some members of the U.S. Army of over 13,000 dollars in a romance scam.

“The EFFC investigated and was able to trace some of the funds amounting to 3,650 dollars to EcoBank Plc via Moneygram which was received by the convict.

“The convict, in the course of the investigation, refunded to authorities, the said sum of 3,650 dollars, the money received from the crime,” she said.

The offence contravened Section 312 (3) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.

South African pastor makes members eat flowers again

Pastor Lesego Daniels is in the news again and just like at other times, he's feeding his members another bizarre substance. This time around, Pastor Lesego Daniels of the Rabboni Centre Ministry Church in South Africa gave congregants flower to eat for healing.

He instructed some church workers to pluck decorative flowers from the podium of the church then they were given to members to eat.

Pastor Lesego said eating the flowers are part of a healing process. In the past, Daniels had asked his members to eat grass which they claimed tasted like cornflakes. He had also given them petrol to drink at some point and they said it tasted like pineapple juice. A congregant told Daily Sun that the flowers they ate recently tasted like mint chocolate. Another said they felt fresh and good after eating it.

“I never got flowers from any of my lovers,” said a female member. “I find it sweet to get them in church. They were for healing.”

Omg! Bodies of six family members discovered in River state

The decomposing bodies of a family of six which was suspected to have been as a result of the fumes emitted by their generator, have been discovered in their sitting room in Obio/Akpo Local Government Area, of Rivers State.

The decomposing bodies were found, at their residence on Salvation Street by concerned neighbours who had gone in search of them when they realized that not one of them had been seen since last Friday.

The discovery has thrown the residents in a mourning mood as the family is made up of the father, mother, and four children with ages 6, 4, 3 and 2.
The police evacuated the bodies yesterday afternoon.

The landlord while speaking to journalist requested for anonymity because the police was investigating the matter and said he saw the family last on Friday morning.

He said:

Their generator was on when I returned home on Friday evening and I presumed they were inside the house.
I didn’t see them on Saturday. I also did not see any of them on Sunday. My junior brother called me this afternoon while I was at work to intimate me that something was happening at my house, so I rushed down here. I am in shock.

One of the neighbour who saw the bodies when the police arrived to evacuate them said they were lying down on the floor which suggested that the family might have been watching television and perhaps slept off in the process, leaving the television and generator on.

The Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident said the Police had evacuated the bodies and taken them to the mortuary for post morten examination.

The Police Image maker also said:

The speculation is that the family may have died from carbon monoxide which emanated from their generator. But that has not been scientifically proven. So, we are waiting for the autopsy report to make our findings.

Omg! See what a brother did to his sister because she stole his $20

Actress Mercy Aigbe appeals to the public on Domestic violence

While speaking at the #1in3Africa walk against domestic violence organized by wife of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi last week, Mercy Aigbe appealed to the public to stop asking her not to talk about domestic violence on her social media.

Mercy and her estranged hubby, Lanre, have been engaged in a social media fight over claims that he battered her while they were still married. Speaking at the walk, Mercy said people should stop shaming women who are victims of domestic violence.

"Violence should not be an option irrespective of whatever the situation is. Nobody should resort to violence because at the end of it all, it doesn't solve anything. It actually makes things worse. So I am here to say no to domestic violence, no to assault, no to battery. Under any circumstance, a man should never hit his wife. Only weak men, only cowards hit their wives. To women who are going through such, I would say please come out, speak about it. Stop protecting that man. Stop shielding that man because any man that hits you, he doesn't love you. The minute the man raises up his hand to slap or hit or punch you, that means there is no more love in that relationship. There is no more love in that marriage. So stop shielding the man. Come out. Speak about it and if possible make sure you prosecute such a person and the person is brought to book. Violence is a no no. It should not be condoned. It should not be tolerated and also by making sure that whoever is found wanting is brought to book. Please people, Let us stop shaming the victims. There is no shame in our pain. I am a victim and I am proud to say that I am a victim. I am talking about it because I have chosen to talk about it. A lot of people say she is a celebrity. Yes I am a celeb according to you guys, but I am also a human being. I have blood flowing in my veins. I have feelings. If I choose to talk about it, leave me let me speak out it. Do not come shaming me and telling me how I should not come to social media to say what I want to say. I have the right and I am a human being. So let me talk about it because I feel my talking about it will actually give voice to the voiceless. My talking about it will encourage one woman out there who is going through such a thing and who cannot stand up to come out and be bold enough and be courageous about it and to stand up to that bully who she calls her husband" she said

Ex-Yobe state governor, Bukar Ibrahim caught with two women in a hotel room (photo)

Yesterday, Sahara Reporters posted an amateur video of former Yobe state governor now a senator, Bukar Ibrahim, with two women inside a hotel, suggesting he had just had sex with them. The 2minutes footage showed Mr. Ibrahim reaching for his underwear after emerging from the shower.

The senator has now reacted to the viral video, saying what he does with a lady inside a room is not anyone's business and that he doesn't owe anyone any explanation. He said it's a blackmail.

Bukar who reacted in an interview with Premium Times today, said
"This is a personal, private matter. What does my having been with a girl have to do with the public? You know the normal thing: people ask for unreasonable things, and if you deny them, they try to blackmail you if they have a way. If they say I raped, that’s a different matter altogether. Is it because I am a public official then I am not supposed to be entitled to private life? I have commenced investigations to find out why it is circulating. But from all indications, it is a blackmail”he said
The former governor who introduced Sharia In August 2000, said one of the ladies in the video actually told him she was filming him and also using the camera light to illuminate in their hotel room. He says he did not know that the video would be leaked online.

Update! Fayose says - Buhari’s wife hurried trip to London confirms my claim, insists President is on life-support

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said that the hurried trip embarked to London by First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari was a confirmation that President Muhammadu Buhari’s health had deteriorated, saying that “It is six days since I addressed the press and today, I still insist that the President is indeed on life-support.”

Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said the governor, who addressed some journalists in Lagos on Monday, insisted that “The worsen condition of the President’s health necessitated the hurried trip of our First Lady, Her Excellency Aisha Buhari to London and it is hoped that she will have the courage to tell Nigerians the truth this time around.”

He said “no one is interested in President Buhari’s death. Rather, we are interested in freeing Nigeria from the hands of these few individuals who are presently holding the country to ransom.”

Governor Fayose, who maintained that President Buhari must resign, said; “Today is the 184th day of 2017. Out of these 184 days, our President has spent 107 days abroad taking care of his health.
“How does a nation move forward when its President is spending the better part of his time abroad for Medicare?
“For how long can Nigeria and its people wait for a President who is incapacitated? For how long can our people continue to suffer just because some people want to hold on to power at all cost?
“That was the reason I raised the issue of President Buhari’s age, health and mental capacity in 2015 and warned against electing President him.”

Speaking further, the governor said; “Nigerians should be reminded that in 2010 when there was uncertainty over the health of the then President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, President Buhari called on the National Assembly to impeach Yar'Adua.
“The Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who was the Spokesperson of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) also said Nigerians should be briefed daily on Yar’Adua’s health status. Lai Mohammed said then that ‘the health of the President, as a public figure cannot be of interest only to his family and friends. Nigerians have a right to know.’
“Just the same way President Buhari asked the National Assembly to remove Yar’Adua in 2010; I am also insisting that the President must be made to bow out of office so that Nigeria and its people can be saved from this state of uncertainty.
“No doubt, it has been argued that since Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is already functioning as Acting President, President Buhari can be bedridden for as long as his illness last, but the reality that Nigerians must accept is that the Acting President cannot fully exercise the powers of the President.
“However, pending his resignation, I am also aligning myself with what Lai Mohammed said in 2010 on Yar’Adua’s health by demanding that he (Lai Mohammed) should begin a daily briefing of Nigerians based on authentic details provided by the President's doctors.
“Nigeria belongs to all of and its collective interest remains greater than those of any individual or group and together, we must save Nigeria.”
