A Facebook user, Sulaiman Confi has shared a note an Abuja based man wrote to a bank whose ATM machine erroneously dispensed money to him.The man addressed the letter to the branch manager of the said bank stating that the sum of thirty thousand naira was dispensed to him in error and would like to return it.
He claimed that the particular machine has been dispensing one thousand naira note as five hundred naira bills which made people queue up to get some of the cash.
He said; “Honesty is the best policy An Abuja based Kanuri Man from Maiduguri, Malam Adamu Askira had returned the some of N30,000.00 erroneously dispensed to him by a @DiamondBankNG ATM in Wuse 2 Abuja.
He also alerted the Bank that the ATM was dispensing N1000 notes as N500 which led to long queue at the ATM.”
He attached the money and thanked the bank in anticipation of receiving it.
