Nigerian dancers who performed with Beyonce at Coachella, thank her

Last night, American superstar songstress, Beyonce made history at Coachella, as she became the first black woman to headline the music and arts festival.
The hitmaker kicked off her highly-anticipated set with her 2003 smash hit Crazy In Love, before going on to perform some of the best tracks from her back catalogue including Formation, Drunk In Love, and Baby Boy.
Beyonce referenced the history-making nature of her performance later in her set by saying: “Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline,” before breaking into a rendition of Run the World (Girls).
She shared the stage with over 100 dancers and a brass marching band for the expertly choreographed set. Nigerian dancers who made it to her dance team, have already taken to social media to thank her for giving them an opportunity.@Diddiemah wrote on Instagram;
God bless you @beyonce!!! @jaquelknight would I have done without you?
This one is for all the small girls in villages back home in Nigeria. God is alive and kicking! Dream as big as you can-and then believe it! Thank you for all the support. To perform behind the first black woman to SLAY the stage at Coachella-to slay the world. All hail the QUEEN @beyonce . She is a true masterpiece. IVE NEVER WATCH SOMEONE WORK THAT HARD Let alone a woman. Thank you to all the Historical Black Colleges-you made this possible. I’m so proud to be African and American.

Beyonce’s headlining act also saw Destiny’s Child reunite for a special performance on the girl group’s 20th anniversary. The last time the band performed together was at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
Beyoncé introduced Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams by saying: “My sisters! Please give it up for Kelly and Michelle. I love y’all.”
The trio put in a rousing performance of their late 90s and early 2000s R&B classics Say My Name, Soldier and Lose My Breath.
