Veteran Nigerian actor, filmmaker and director Adebayo Salami popularly known by his stage name “Oga Bello”, is said to have signed a production deal with Nigeria’s leading pay-TV Company, StarTimes.
Although details of the deal have not been made public, it is believed to be a juicy deal worth millions of Naira and will see Oga Bello produce a 26-episode series in Yoruba language exclusively for StarTimes Nigeria.
Oga Bello When contacted for more details, the Chief Operating Officer of StarTimes, Mr. Tunde Aina, said the company would make more information available when the time is right but confirmed that they were in talks with Oga Bello on production.
According to sources, shooting has already commenced in Ibadan with some big names in the movie industry listed in the cast.
