Family members of the presumed winner of the June 12th 1993 election, MKO Abiola and frontline lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi and many others have arrived Abuja for the investiture of June 12 as the official Democracy day and conferrement of national honors of their deceased loved ones.
MKO Abiola's daughter, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, Gani Fawehinmi's first son, Mohammed and and first daughter Basirat, are among those that have arrived Abuja. They were treated to a pre-conferrement dinner by former Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole, last night.
The event which is being hosted by President Buhari, will take place at the state house, Abuja.
Recall that last week, President Buhari announced the change in the date of our democracy day from May 29th to June 12th.
