Street named after late actress Aisha Abimbola aka Omoge Campus in Ogun state

Talented Yoruba actress Aisha Abimbola popularly known as Omoge Campus died on Tuesday, May 15, in Canada.
The screen diva, who reportedly died of breast cancer was mourned by family, friends and colleagues in the movie industry. Her death was a shock to everyone around her including her fans all over the world.

As a way of honoring the deceased and former brand ambassador to a leading real estate firm, a street has been named after late Omoge Campus.
According to the company’s media assistant, Murphy Ajibade Alabi the chief executive officer of Ibidire Adetunji Lams, he stated that nothing was too much to immortalize the talented movie star.
He said: “It is a shock to us that we lost our lead ambassador and popular Yoruba actress, Aisha Abimbola. We pray almighty God accepts her soul and may she continue to rest in the bosom heart of God. Aisha had been our ambassador for years and we will surely miss her. In order not to forget her name, we have decided to immortalize her by naming one of the streets at Igbesa, Ogun state, Aishat Abimbola Crescent, after her and we also plan to reduce the price of our properties in her honour.”
It could be recalled that on Thursday, May 17, late Abimbola was buried according to Islamic rites in the city of Toronto. All funeral proceedings were taken care of by Heritage Funeral Centre.
