Osun state election: Two people arrested by police for Vote Buying


The police have arrested two men in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State for suspected vote-buying.

According to a statement, the police recovered N604,000 from the suspects, adding that investigation had commenced into the matter.
“Two suspected vote-buyers have been arrested by a team of police personnel on election duty at Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State and the sum of N604,000 recovered from their possession.
The investigation is being intensified,” the statement said:
