A Police inspector attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) in Ikorodu, Lagos has been arrested for extorting N5,000 from a lady. 

A statement issued on Friday, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit, Abayomi Sogunle, said the suspect identified as Inspector Charles Omotosho, was arrested following a complaint from a complaint made by the victim on Twitter.

Army Arrests 19 Suspected Vandals, 12 Impostors, 11 Cultists in Lagos

The 174 battalion of the 81 Division of the Nigeran Army, Thursday arrested 19 suspected pipeline vandals, 12 impostors and 11 cultists in different raids across Lagos and Ogun States.

The vandals were arrested at Magboro in Ogun State along Lagos/Ibadan Express in the process of transporting the siphoned petroleum products from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC ) pipelines in Ikorodu.

A total of 24 vehicles comprising three long-trailer trucks, nine buses, eight Space Wagons, one Hilux van, three Salon cars and four motorcycles abandoned by the vandals were recovered.

The 174 battalion of the 81 Division of the Nigeran Army, Thursday arrested 19 suspected pipeline vandals, 12 impostors and 11 cultists in different raids across Lagos and Ogun States.
