Buhari Wins Presidential Election In Sokoto


#NigeriaDecides2019, Buhari, Atiku, PDP, APCThe presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , President Muhammad Buhari, beats the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Sokoto polls.

From the 21 local government results so far declared as at 4pm, President Buhari has garnered 445,275 votes to that of his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who garnered 328, 411 votes.
The Sokoto State Collation Officer for Presidential election, Prof. Muhammed Yahuza of the Bayero University Kano,, who presided over the collation, announced the adjournment for the two remaining local government results before the result will be taken to INEC office in Abuja for announcement.
