A paedophile identified as Lambert Ighodaro has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after being convicted by a Evbuoriaria Magistrate Court, for defiling a 12 year old schoolgirl in Edo State.According to the victim who narrated her ordeals to her class teacher, Ighodaro had been sexually abusing her since 2017, during school hours.
The teacher later reported the case to the State Universal Basic Education Board, which swung into action by reporting to the police, who immediately apprehended and arraigned the suspect.
