Thieves Caught After Wearing Designer Clothes They Stole In Abia

An attempted jungle justice was averted at Ahiaukwu Olokoro in Umuahia south local government area of Abia state on Monday, 25th March, 2019, when two alleged thieves were caught with stolen items.
The two suspects were beaten to stupor as youth leaders prevented the mob from taking laws into their hands..
One of the thieves was allegedly identified wearing stolen stone-wash Jean and other designers clothes.
Interacting with newsmen , a businessman narrated his experience with the suspects and displayed a video where some security officers arrested them last week because of a robbery case. He revealed that the suspects have been robbing residents of Olokoro of their belongings almost on a daily basis.

A community leader with the assistance of some youths took the suspects to a police station in Umuahia.A woman who said she had been robbed by the suspects identified one of the them and was demanding they should be dealt with.
