Ned Nwoko who was declared a winner by a High Court, got disappointing news after the Appeal Court upturned the judgement and returned Nwaoboshi as the Senator-elect.

The accreditation denial by NASS management which allegedly occurred on Sunday, 9th June 2019, follows the current battle between him and Peter Nwaoboshi in court to determine the authentic Senator-elect to represent Delta North senatorial district at the 9th Senate. Ahead of Tuesday’s inauguration ceremony, Nwoko was the first and earliest caller at the National Assembly complex on Sunday for documentation.
Ned Nwoko was turned down by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori. Omolori stopped Nwoko at the ‘White House’ lobby, opposite Hearing Room 1, venue for the accreditation of elected lawmakers to inform him that he will not be accredited because of unsettled electoral dispute in his Delta North senatorial district.Despite the recurrent loss, Ned Nwoko continues to rise above it all including the consistent pressure and backlash he has encountered ever since his marriage to his heartthrob, Regina Daniels. The duo was once seen hanging out in a club and was recently spotted at a recreational centre where they both openly had fun to the delight of supporters and the shame of critics.
Though many still link his sudden popularity to Regina Daniels, it is imperative to note that Ned Nwoko had always been an active politician and marrying Regina Daniels was just another icing on the cake as far as fame and popularity is concerned. As for the couple we wish them a peaceful and blissful marriage.
