The Super Eagles of Nigeria are through to the semi-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 2-1 at the Cairo International Stadium.

Nigeria will now play the winner between Algeria and Ivory Coast, for a place in the final.With the match looking to head into extra time, William Troost-Ekong forced the ball over the line in the final minute of play.
