Photo of South African notorious rapist who gets 9 life sentences

Mthunzi Hlomane popularly known as the ‘University of Cape Town’ serial rapist has been handed nine life sentences. UCT who was arrested in February in connection with the rape of five women between November 2015 and February 2016 near the Rhodes Memorial in Cape 

Town appeared at the Western Cape High Court today, where entered into a plea and sentencing agreement and was handed nine life sentences.

During the sentencing agreement, he pleaded guilty for kidnapping, assaulting, robbery and rapping of numerous women last year.

According to South African Eyewitness News, the nine life sentences will not run concurrently, meaning that Hlomane the ‘University of Cape Town’ serial rapist will remain in jail for the rest of his life.
