Young boy rushed to hospital after falling 'three floors' from apartment in Dublin

A three-year-old boy is in a serious condition after falling 'three floors' from an apartment this morning. The incident took place at a building at Cuirt An Oir on the Athlone Road in Longford town at 11am.

The three-year-old boy is thought to have fallen from the third floor of an apartment.
Emergency services were alerted and came to the scene.

 
 
The toddler was taken to Mullingar’s Midland Regional Hospital at first before being transferred to Temple Street hospital in Dublin.
It is believed that the young toddler had injuries to his head and body due to the fall.

Garda are investigating the incident but they are treating it as an accident at the moment.
A garda spokesman told the Irish Mirror: “We are aware of an incident there.
"The infant boy fell from an apartment at around 11am this morning."
