A school bus carrying 22 students and 4 academic staff from Government Day Secondary School in Misau, Bauchi state- had an accident while on an excursion to Arewa24 TV station in Kano.
According to reports, the bus conveying them, had a head-on- collision with a truck while they were both trying to avoid a pot- hole at Samia Uku village.
Eyewitnesses said the bus was on high speed, same as the trailer.
Almost all the students and teachers lost their lives – with many seriously injured.
