Singer Maleek Berry has quickly reacted to the ‘Eko hotel incident’ thanking everyone who helped for their rapid response.
The Next Rated Nominee revealed that the young man who almost died was a close friend to him.
He narrated the sad scenario of how the whole incident went down and thanked everyone who helped especially Waje & Omawumi for their rapid response, the singer further revealed that the young man is now ok.
Taking to his twitter account, he penned down the whole story.

The system needs to be fixed! The ambulance outside didn’t even have a driver to take us to the hospital at the time all this was happening. We had to take the hotel shuttle Instead and rush to the nearest hospital.

We spent 2hours to get him stabilised, after which I virtually rushed back down to the Headies in time for my performance. My mind wasn’t even there but I want to thank everyone that stood up and everybody cheering at home , you don’t know what’s that meant for me at that time.
