Rihanna sends Donald Trump a legal warning asking him to desist from using her music at his political rallies

Rihanna sends Donald Trump a legal warning asking him to desist from using her music at his political rallies

Rihanna has warned the US President, Donald Trump, about playing her music at his political rallies.
The 30-year-old singer got her lawyers to send Trump's legal team a cease and desist letter after he played "Don't Stop the Music" at his Sunday rally in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to the letter, Trump has used Rihanna tunes "in connection with a number of political events held across the United States" and Rihanna wants it to end. The letter goes
on to state that Rihanna has not given Trump consent to use any of her music, so using it "is therefore improper."
A Washington Post reporter tweeted at Rihanna Sunday after seeing the Trump rally. She replied, "Me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies."
Rihanna isn't the first artist to warn Trump against using their music. Pharrell Williams, late Prince's estate, Steven Tyler, and several other artists have banned Trump from playing their song at political rallies.
