Davido reacts as police arrests his uncle, Senator Adeleke

Popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, alias Davido, has reacted to the arrest of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, by the Nigeria Police.

The dancing Senator was taken into custody on, Monday May 6th and will be arraigned in court Tuesday, May 7th.

Confirming the arrest, spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Frank Mba, said,

“Senator Adeleke is currently in police custody. He was taken into custody in connection with ongoing criminal investigations touching on his person”.

Reacting to this news, Davido, took to his Instagram page and said he has given up on democracy in Nigeria.
