An accident involving a speeding Honda Civic occurred at 4 pm yesterday around Osborne, Ikoyi. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps and LASTMA officials, who confirmed the incident, the car hit the street lights after its brake failed.
The driver was said to have died instantly and the other passengers were immediately rushed to the Nigerian Army General Hospital Ikoyi, Lagos.
