Girl, 4, "kidnapped by father and nanny to join Isis"

Girl, 4, "kidnapped by father and nanny to join Isis"

A 4-year-old girl was kidnapped by her father and nanny and the child's mother fears they've taken her to join ISIS.

The little girl, named only as Eva, had traveled with her parents from their home in Russia to the Austrian capital city of Vienna for surgery
in December. But while in Vienna, the father, known as Mazdi L, lured his wife, Anna L, out of their hotel under false pretenses, then he escaped with their daughter.

Anna now believes that her husband, who is originally from Lebanon and has a Russian passport, planned the whole thing with their nanny, Nazoket A.

She says she found handwritten notes about Isis, as well as a suspicious list of Iraqi generals. She also found a list of Mazdi’s family members, issued by the Lebanese Interior Ministry, showing he was actually born in Aleppo, Syria - something she never knew all the years they were married.
"That was new even to me," she said.

Anna admitted to being suspicious about her husband and feared he wanted to turn her into a "black widow" – an Islamist Chechen female suicide bomber.
She said: "He repeatedly asked me if I wanted to become part of an airplane attack or leap to my death."
She says her husband was also violent, claiming: "My husband has often beat and choked me, and tried to rape me."

She has asked Russian authorities to investigate her husband for abducting Eva and to look into his possible terrorist links. She added that under her husband’s influence their nanny, who came from Tajikistan, became increasingly religious.
Anna fears her daughter has been taken to Lebanon to join ISIS.
