Nigerian hip hop icon 2shotz drops new mixtape addressing current issues around him – The project is titled Loud Silence and it features a number of veterans in the entertainment industry Nigerian hip hop veteran Williams Oriorha more popularly known as 2shotz has put out a new project titled Loud Silence.The new mixtape features a range of first-rate talents in the Nigerian entertainment industry from comedians to singers, rappers and producers. One of the songs on the nine-track mixtape even samples something from American hip hop legend Dr Dre. 2shotz has been a topic of discussion in recent times more as a result of messy issues hovering on his marriage, amid claims and counter claims from him and the mother of his child Precious Jones, than about his music.
This perhaps informs his decision to drop Loud Silence, a material he says sums up everything happening in his world at present. The Odeshi rapper features comedian Bovi, music veteran and former label boss Eldee as well as Sarz, Hayo – Niel and DJ Coublon among others.
The mixtape is available on iTunes and insiders say this might be the journey to a massive comeback for the rapper. The drama in his relationship with Precious dates back to early December 2015, when she brought the couple’s affairs into public glare by accusing him of battery and other forms of insults.
