On Sunday, March 28, the top Nigerian comedian Seyi and wife celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary and the couple seized the opportunity to renew their marital vows. But as God would have his way, the ace comedian lost someone very close to him.
The couple did not only renew their marital vows privately but hosted a couple of family members and friends at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. There was a life-band present at the venue and the couple had their ‘castle’ crafted cake designed by celebrity baker, Tosan (CEO Cakes by Tosan).

“My Bae and I. five years down, Forever to go. A milestone crossed more footprints to leave. I love you. Our joy and hope is not in God just for the next five years but for the forever He promised. After a weekend of fun on Tuesday, March 29, Seyi Law lost a close brother Godwin Tonte, in a gas explosion. The comedian took to his Instagram page to post the picture of Godwin with condolence words.
