Renowned radio presenter Freeze speaks on ensuing drama between Tee Billz and wife Tiwa Savage – Following Tee Billz’s rants on Instagram today on his wife’s alleged infidelities, there have been doubts all over about their union Renowned radio host Freeze has given his two cents on the trending issue between artiste manager and publicist Tee Billz and Mavin records superstar Tiwa Savage.
Earlier today Thursday, April 28, Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun took to Instagram and ranted for over an hour on several issues that many believe ought to have been kept private between him and his wife Tiwa. An obviously livid Tee Billz revealed several issues involving his wife’s alleged infidelity, her family issues and how she’s allegedly reduced him to nothing by her actions. Now deleted, the posts on his Instagram have generated so much frenzy online that Tee Billz has been trending all day in Nigeria alongside Tiwa, Don Jazzy and Annie Idibia. Several celebrities including Banky W, Seyi Law, Sauce Kid and radio host N6 tried to calm the situation by reaching out to the troubled artiste manager’s phones but got no response so they dropped Instagram comments.
As the world braces up for the eventualities that might follow as a result of the unsavoury details in the rants, and with Tee Billz issuing a fresh statement via a new Twitter account on the fact that his account was hacked, Freeze adds a thing or two to the ensuing issue.
According to the radio presenter, Tunji Balogun is a wonderful person who’s reached out to him several times in the past showing love and support. Freeze adds that he hopes the situation is not true. Read his full post below: “I woke up this morning to an ordinary day. The weather was perfect and there was a sense of hope that filled the air…….. Until I turned my phone on and the world turned upside down. I’m going to be 40 in a few days and I thought I had seen it all. Despite all the rumors about the Baloguns, I always presumed all was well on the home front and they were just rumors. My phone rang and it was my radio wife @kaylahoniwo calling, after a brief conversation, we both agreed upon the fact that his account must have been hacked. This is not the Tunji I know. “The one I know is the most wonderful person on earth and if there is anyone I owe a favour Tunji is that one person. I remember when I returned from California in 2013, I had become the first Nigerian to win the prestigious Nickelodeon KCA and it seemed a bigger deal to Tunji than even to me that won the award. He had on my behalf reached out to the press to celebrate this achievement which he described as ‘major’ in his own words.
“Then I had my public meltdown when my previous relationship failed he and @aimakhutoyin were the first people to reach out to me to console me and my respect for him grew. Then there was this one time, on Saint Valentine’s day, when Lagos seemed to have run out of flowers and I remembered that @thepoloavenue had an event the night before and they had the most breathtaking white roses I had ever seen.
I went over to get some of the flowers for bae and lo and behold Tee Billz was there with similar intentions. “I saw him as the most romantic husband and lover. On Monday, March 14, he spoke on formerly imprisoned Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fiberesima explaining that the embattled actress should be pardoned in order not to deprive her children of her care as well as traumatize them with her absence. He added that the jail sentence could put a blot on the entertainer’s image as well with the tag of ‘ex-convict’. On April 21, he gave his two cents on the lingering drama between Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu and her ex-lover Seun Egbede adding that the actress deserves to get an aplogy for all that has transpired between the pair.
What popular broadcaster wrote about Ibinabo’s jail term Ifedayo ‘Freeze’ Olarinde is a renowned Nigerian radio presenter and events host. In 2015, his marriage collapsed after series of allegations between him and his ex-wife after which he allegedly abandoned her with two kids in pursuit of romance with a Port Harcourt-based lover rumoured to be older than him. Freeze is half Nigerian (Osun State) and half Romanian. He read Sociology at the University of Ibadan and began his broadcasting career in 1996 with BCOS, Ibadan.
