The 2016 edition of Cowbellpedia, a mathematics quiz competition sponsored by Promasidor Nigeria ended at the weekend, October 29, 2016.
Ayoola Oguntade and Juliet Eko emerged winner of the competition for the Senior and Junior school categories respectively carting home the ultimate cash prize of N1million each.
The 1st and 2nd runner ups in each category went home with N750k and N500k respectively
At the event held at the Just Media Studios, Ogba, Lagos state, parents and teachers of the contestants from different schools gathered to witness the grand finale. Among the special guests were the Registrar of National Examination Council, (NECO), Professor Charles Uwakwe, Managing Director, Promasidor Nigeria, Mr. Olivier Thiry, Category Manager, Dairy, Promasidor, Mr. Abiodun Ayodeji, and many others.
One of the highlights of the show was when Oluwatunmise Idowu, a 13 year old student of Scholars Universal Secondary School, Ota, Ogun State came up for her special recognition award.
