A clash between the Uganda Police Defense Force and Royal guards of Kasese District, Rwenzori Of Uganda over the weekend left at least 55 people dead and many injured.
According to Ghafla News, The clash began after the Ugandan police suspected the King of Obusinga bwa Rwenzururu Kingdom King Charles Wesley Mumbere of offering a sanctuary to separatist militia.
This made the police raid his palace which led to a face-off with the Palace royal guards. Leaving at least 14 police and 41 royal guards dead.
