The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. His death comes just days after he publicly accused the newly installed Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Akeem Adéyẹmọ Owoade, of allegedly ordering his courtiers to beat him mercilessly during a recent courtesy visit to the Oyo palace in Nigeria. Operatives of SARS, Rivers State Police Command on Monday, arrested three suspects, identified as Sodienye Mbatumukeke, 28, Excel Divine Naabe, 25 and Joy Eluwa.
The suspects allegedly robbed and murdered a JUMIA Courier, who had gone to deliver two iphones and a Super Bike that were ordered online by them at No 4, Adaede Street, Off Ada-George Rd in Port Harcourt.

The corpse of the dead Courier was recovered from a septic where they had hidden him after killing him. His body has been deposited in the mortuary. Meanwhile the suspects are helping the Police and efforts are on to arrest others, fingered in the dastardly act.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Zaki M. Ahmed who led other Senior Police Officers to the scene is appealing to the public to always help the Police solve crimes by sharing useful Information with the Police, promising to flush out all criminal elements in the State.
