Two South African Lesbians Weds (photo)
Two women have tied the knot in South Africa. 36-year old Babalwa Dasha from Bhofolo, Eastern Cape and 37-year old Zonke Mngoma from Newlands West, Durban met two years ago at work and now they are married.
At Umhlanga Hospital, Babalwa is a pharmacist and Zonke is a nurse.
Their traditional wedding was conducted by Pastor Zenzi Zungu of the Victory Ministries Church International.
“We are all created by God. He made us all different,” said Zungu.
Babalwa’s mother, Thandi Dasha, 59 welcomed her partner 1to the Dasha family.
“We love you and I’m glad that my daughter brought home someone who will take care of me,” she said.
