The social media content creator lost her dad, Segun Bucknor on the 11th of August 2017 in Lagos. He was also the father of Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, a lawyer and CEO of Zapphaire Events.
Segun Bucknor who was a contemporary of Sir Victor Uwafo and Victor Olaiya, was alleged to have been down with stroke for a while. The father was said to have died at the age of 71.
Mr Bucknor was a legendary Nigerian musician and one of the pioneers of the early Nigerian music sound, learning the art from the legendary Roy Chicago of the highlife fame.
