Shockwaves are reverberating across Yorùbáland and the global Yorùbá diaspora following the sudden death of the Baba Ọba (King’s Father) of the famed Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, USA. The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. His death comes just days after he publicly accused the newly installed Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Akeem Adéyẹmọ Owoade, of allegedly ordering his courtiers to beat him mercilessly during a recent courtesy visit to the Oyo palace in Nigeria. 9ice is a south-westerner from Ogbomoso in Oyo State but he grew up in the district of Bariga in Lagos. 9ice won the award for Best Hip Hop Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2008.

The award-winning singer had his daughters with one of his babymamas named Victoria Goddis after his huge breakup with Toni Payne in 2011.

It later turned out to be a rumor that had no element of truth as the singer came out to deny the allegation.
You already know, 9ice has 4 children with three different women. As at 2015, 9ice was living with Olasunkanmi Ajala who is the mother of his 4th child, Michelle.
Before then, 9ice was married to Toni Payne. Their 2008 marriage produced a son named Zion.
Shortly after his marriage to ex-wife Toni Payne packed up in 2010, Gongo Aso crooner 9ice welcomed a set of twin daughters with another lady Victoria Olubukola Godis in 2011.
