Tragedy struck yesterday when a student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, drowned inside a swimming pool during a birthday celebration.
The sad incident reportedly occurred at Cosmila Hotel.
According to reports, the deceased, identified as Ezekwe Jideofor John, who was celebrating the birthday of his course mate, when the sad inident happened.
The school authorities have reached out to the parents of the deceased.
