The National Working Committee of the APC, took the decision to screen him out based on the report of the party’s Governorship Aspirants Screening Committee.
The party has also screened out the Minister of Women Affairs, Senator Aisha Alhassan, from the Taraba state governorship race. No reason was given. Alhassan had been the party’s governorship candidate in Taraba State during the 2015 general elections.
