BREAKING: Baba Ọba of Oyotunji Village Dies Suddenly Amid Controversy with New Alaafin of Oyo(GOV. SEYI MAKINDE)

  Shockwaves are reverberating across Yorùbáland and the global Yorùbá diaspora following the sudden death of the Baba Ọba (King’s Father) of the famed Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, USA. The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. Osun rerun: Live Election Results as Collation Commences

The rerun election in some areas in Osun State is slowly coming to an end as collation of results has started.

As at press time, results are being gathered and announced in different polling units and collation centers in the state.
Here are the live election results:

Registered voters: 812
Accredited voters: 310
Rejected votes: 6
APC: 283
APA: 3
APGA: 1
PDP: 15
SDP: 1
UPN: 1

Orolu Ward 9, unit 3
PDP – 64
APC – 41
The supplementary election is between the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
PDP’s Ademola Adeleke and APC’s Gboyega Oyintola are in the race to take over from incumbent Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.
As a result, the Returning Officer for the election, Professor Joseph Afuape, declared the poll inconclusive.

Teenager commits suicide on livestream and his mother walked in on the heartbreaking scene (video)

A mother has been left devastated after her son committed suicide on  livestream  and she walked in to see his dead body. The 18-year-old Canadian teenager filmed his suicide for his followers to watch. He had a bandana covering his nose and mouth as he got ready to take his life. He had written a suicide note and he slid it out of the room, together with the key to the room he was in, through the space beneath the door. When he was done with this, he put a gun to his head and killed himself.
