Nollywood actor and model, Gbenro Ajibade and his wife, Osas Ighodaro have raised suspicion of an alleged marital crisis following a new development on Instagram.Unlike years before, Gbenro Ajibade who has been in Atlanta Georgia since March this year, while Osas is still in Nigeria, failed to wish his wife a happy birthday on Instagram yesterday, and also blocked the comment section on the latest Instagram post he made two days ago.
Though Osas still has her husband’s name on Instagram and still follows Gbenro who has unfollowed her, however they’ve both deleted almost ‘all’ their photos together on the platform. A follower who commented on the page, had written before the comment section was turned off;
“Hope it’s not what am thinking ooo.Why didn’t you wish your wife a happy birthday and why did you disable comments on your recent picture..it had better not be!!”
This is coming Gbenro Ajibade denied insinuations that he married Osas who is a US citizen, for the green card.
“Right now, I have a bone to crack with her family because they think I am intentionally refusing to do my green card. I have not done it even now. It is funny how people think.
“I and Osas had been legally married in a court in the US two years even before the public knew we were going out. If I had wanted green card, I would have done it since but I felt it would be a distraction. I didn’t marry her because of that.” he said.
The lovely couple who have a 2-year-old daughter and we hope things work out well for them.
