Shockwaves are reverberating across Yorùbáland and the global Yorùbá diaspora following the sudden death of the Baba Ọba (King’s Father) of the famed Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, USA. The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. North Korean President Kim Jong-un has ordered citizens to submit their poo to government officials.
The 35-year-old president believes his order will save North Korea’s tanking economy by turbocharging the farming sector with cheap manure.
RadioFreeAsia claim the pariah state’s starving population have a choice between supplying bonkers 100kg of human excrement or 300kg of compost EVERY DAY.
The demand for manure means some workers have allegedly asked to be paid in POO rather than cash.
A DPRK source said:
“The entire population has been mobilized to produce manure as the first major task of the year.
The authorities in each local region task factories, institutions and citizens groups with assigning production quotas to each individual.
“They are demanding that each person produce 100kg of human feces per day, or about 3 tons per month.
“But how on earth can it be possible for one person to make 3 tons of human feces and deliver it?”
Desperate citizens are reportedly trying to make up the deficit by buying excrement from specialist poo merchants.
