Presidential election results announcement: INEC shifts to Monday

The 2019 Presidential election results announcement has been shifted by The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to Monday 25th February, 2019 by 11am.

The Chairman of the commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu made the announcement at the National Collation Centre in Abuja, moments ago.The commission had through the brief meeting announced that it had not rescheduled any election in any part of the country and Nigerians should disregard any presidential election results announcement from any platform on the internet.

It has also come to our notice that some election “results” are circulating on the various social media platforms, Kindly disregard such “results” as only INEC is constitutionally empowered to declare the outcome of the elections.
