Colleague accuses Shade Ladipo of lying about being sacked by STVYesterday, Media personality, Shade Ladipo accused Silverbird Television of firing her for being “too controversial”.
In a video she shared on Instagram, Shade accused the station of trying to censor her and went on to her caption to write, “It’s been a weird sort of day and I’m sad to say that my run with Silverbird TV is over
Suffice to say but my being soooo controversial didn’t go down well with the powers that be
I have enjoyed every opportunity given to me but #FvckYou

However, in an interesting turn of events, another staff at the station has called Shade out for lying about the situation. According to Opeyemi Adekola, the presenter “walked out of the studio despite being tolerated.”
He even took to Instagram to share a video of the ruckus:
