The veteran actor, director, producer, politician, lecturer and a philanthropist is from Okrika in Rivers State, in the southern part of Nigeria but grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. He got his first & master degree from the University of Port Harcourt, River State where he read Theatre Arts. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Port-Harcourt, River State where
lectures in the Department of Theatre Arts.
