Residents of Ayigolo, Ayingba Kogi State have been caught picking expired bottles of drinks which were disposed off at a refuse dump.
The drinks which are still well packaged are gathered by the residents and might find their way to the market where they will be sold to unsuspecting buyers.
It is not quite clear who disposed the expired bottles of drinks, but what is certain is that they were improperly disposed.
This is happening just a month after a fake yoghurt factory in Yobe State, RUQAYYA Yoghurt factory, in the Lai Lai area of Potiskum LGA, was shut down by The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
